Madeleine and I just haven't been getting on, so I am going to grow her up and see if that helps. This means that I will be selling her sweet little Souldoll Double body.

The lowdown.

For sale: Souldoll double girl body (Normal Skin). No head. She is approximately one year old.

Condition: As new. She has been kept in her box for most of her life. There is no yellowing, scratches or other problems with the body. She is quite tightly strung (this is how she came to me from Souldoll) but holds a pose well.

Location: UK. A non-smoking household, but we have two cats.

Shipping: I am happy to ship worldwide. Note me for shipping costs. Due to our ridiculous shipping system (do you want to pay $150 for shipping? Me neither) I will probably ship her unstrung but carefully packed, with her elastics. It might also be possible to ship her strung but in a rather ungainly yoga position, in order to get her into a smaller box. As an example of the price, this would mean shipping to the USA would cost £22.74 (approximately $37).

Le Comte S de Saint Germain and Signor P del Cielo

The engagement is announced between Severin Alphonse Lucien, eldest son of the late Comte and Comtesse de Saint Germain of Granarbre, Haute Loire and Palladino Sebastiano, only son of the late Signor and Signora del Cielo of Venice, Veneto.

A summer wedding is planned.

The sun has been popping its little head up above the rain clouds and there are flowers everywhere. Winter is finally gone and spring is on its way. It's also the Brighton Festival next month and there is lots to see this year (not least of which is Antony and the Johnsons and Diamanda Galas). And I shall be going to see La Clique at the Hippodrome in a couple of weeks' time. Lots of reasons to be happy! Yay!

The subject of dolly photo books is very topical at the moment and I have been asked if I would make one of the NachtZirkus. Now, I would LOVE to do this, but my concerns would be whether anyone would possibly want such a thing and, if they did, what they would want in it. So, can I beg your indulgence for a moment and ask you to tell me your thoughts on this and answer the poll.

So, looking at printing options means that I could have a neat square paperback at a retail price of around £20 (about $30), not including postage. A comparable hardback would be a great deal more expensive and I am just not going there.

My first thoughts were to just have a load of my dolly photos. However, it was suggested that it might also be fun to include some of my writing, so it would effectively be a hard copy of the NachtZirkus website. I would be happy to do that also (but perhaps miss out some of the more extreme writings... ).

So, what do you think? Would you or wouldn't you? If you would, what would you want?

Right, it's official, I have finally had enough of the cold, dark and dismal that is winter. I want some sun! I want it to be light when I get up in the morning and light when I come home from work. Is it too much to ask?

This dog-end of winter is so depressing. Everyone looks tired, dispirited and generally out of sorts. We appear to be suffering from a national case of Seasonal Affective Disorder. But what can be done?

Well, I have a dose of resin therapy coming up at our monthly doll meet next Sunday and I am sure it will work wonders. There is nothing like a room full of 30 BJD maniacs undressing their dolls and placing them in compromising postions to brighten up a dull winter's day. Hurrah!
